Project/Program Manager IV (Product Owner)
Location: Peoria, IL
Duration: 18-Month Contract
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM CST
Pay: $62 - $64 an hr

We are seeking an experienced Project/Program Manager IV – Product Owner to join a fast-paced enterprise technology organization. This role will serve as the bridge between business stakeholders, architecture teams, and Agile delivery teams, driving the translation of strategic business requirements into epics, features, and actionable work for Scrum teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements.
• Collaborate with architecture teams to translate business needs into epics, features, and prioritized backlog items.
• Lead cross-functional discussions to ensure alignment between business objectives and technical solutions.
• Facilitate communication between business, architecture, and Agile delivery teams.
• Provide product ownership throughout the development lifecycle, ensuring successful execution and delivery.
• Develop executive-level presentations, program updates, and status reports.
• Drive Agile and Waterfall project methodologies as appropriate for business needs.
• Present project progress, risks, and recommendations to senior leaders and key stakeholders.
• Support planning, prioritization, and roadmap development activities.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in Project Management, Program Management, Product Ownership, or related roles.
• Proven experience gathering business requirements and converting them into technical deliverables.
• Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Experience using Azure DevOps and Confluence.
• Advanced PowerPoint skills with experience creating executive presentations and program updates.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to perform in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Power BI.
• Background working within large enterprise technology organizations.
• Experience collaborating with architecture, business, and software development teams.
