Job Title:  Agile Program / Project Manager – Scrum Master

Location:  Peoria, IL 

Job Type: Full Time Contract 

Expected hours per week (must include “per week”): 40 hours per week 

Schedule (include days, hours, onsite/hybrid or remote): 5 days onsite

Pay Range (must include “per hour”): $64 to $66 depending on benefits selected 

Job Description:  Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Agile Program / Project Manager with Scrum Master expertise to lead and support large, complex initiatives across IT and business teams. This role plays a critical part in delivering well?governed, outcome?driven solutions by applying strong Agile practices, program management discipline, and stakeholder collaboration.
The ideal candidate brings a strong balance of program leadership, Scrum execution, and organizational change management, with the ability to operate effectively in a structured enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and facilitate multiple complex programs and projects involving cross?functional IT and business teams
Serve as a Scrum Master, ensuring effective Agile execution and adherence to the Scrum framework
Plan, schedule, and facilitate all Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives
Partner daily with project teams and other PMs/Scrum Masters to plan transformation initiatives and communicate project status
Provide operational project leadership for initiatives requiring formal structure, governance, and reporting
Develop and manage project charters, project plans, budgets, schedules, and program/project status reports
Support IT governance and control processes while facilitating stakeholder and sponsor communications
Collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure initiatives align with business priorities and deliver measurable value each sprint


Typical Work Environment

Daily interaction with multiple teams across IT and the business
High collaboration across functional areas
Onsite work environment, 5 days per week


Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree (4?year)
8+ years of experience in Agile program/project management and/or Scrum Master roles
Strong program and project management, communication, change management, analytical, and organizational leadership skills


Technical Skills

Experience with project/program management tools such as Azure DevOps and Microsoft Project
Proven Scrum Master leadership and coaching experience
Demonstrated ability to ensure effective Scrum execution and drive adherence to Agile frameworks
Experience helping teams consistently deliver value each sprint
Experience planning, scheduling, and facilitating Agile ceremonies
Experience working within formal project governance environments
Knowledge of mainframe and distributed systems is desirable
