Description

  • Leads, directs, and manages the project accident prevention program, ensuring compliance with federal/state regulations and local safety requirements.
  • Enforces LaneÂs safety program, policies, and procedures; implements immediate corrective actions where required.
  • Mentors, coaches, and evaluates safety employees, providing feedback and performance assessments.
  • Develops and delivers training programs.
  • Facilitates orientations, toolbox talks, and regular safety meetings with field crews, subcontractors, and professional staff.
  • Participates in regulatory inspections.
  • Investigates near misses, injuries, and incidents; and leads root cause analysis to ensure corrective measures prevent recurrence.
  • Monitors incident trends and proactively implements measures to reduce risks and improve safety performance.
  • Communicates with the corporate claims department to ensure accurate documentation of asset losses and workers compensation claims.
  • Collaborates with project leadership to integrate safety into planning, scheduling, and execution of work activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education

Bachelor''s Degree

Certifications

CIH, CSP preferred
