CONSTRUCTION SCHEDULER

SUMMARY
TheConstruction Scheduler role at Hanwha Q CELLS USA Corp. is a strategic position tailored for a seasoned professional adept at overseeing planning and scheduling functions for utility-scale solar and BESS projects. This position reports to the Senior Manager Construction Scheduling or another management personnel that the team lead may designate. This position is located in Irvine, CA and working hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00am to 5:00pm or 9:00am to 6:00pm local time. Overtime and weekend working hours will be required as needed. This position is expected to travel up to 10%.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement operational schedulingprocesses, policies, and toolsto support projectexecution.
- Manage Solar and BESS EPC projects toconstructionschedulingstandardsforself-perform projects, including WBS, floatmanagementpolicy, weatherimpacts, and otherguidanceforstandardizedschedulingapproaches.
- Overseetheintegrationofearnedvaluemanagementprocesseswithschedulingprocesses.
- Adaptindustrybestpracticestoenhancethecompetitivenessoftheorganization.
- Collaboratewithcross-functional teams tointegrate Primavera P6 intosummaryreporting, ensuringalignmentwithprojectobjectives and operational requirements.
- Conduct weekly and monthlyreviewsofprojectteamdeliverables, offeringconstructivefeedback and developmentplanstoimproveperformance.
- Perform in-depthanalysisofprojectschedulestoidentify potential delaysorconstraints and developmitigationstrategies.
- Recommendadjustmentstoprojectschedulestoensurealignmentwithprojectgoals and timelycompletion.
- Ensureeffectivecommunicationwithproject and executivemanagementfortimelydecision-making.
- Ensurecompliancewithreportingstandards and projectmanagementmethods.
- Develop and implementtrackingstandards, particularlyforcontractual and constructionmilestones.
- Collaboratewith internal Project Controlstomeet all reportingneeds.
- Contributetopreconstruction and subcontractor plan reviews.
- Perform otherduties and specialprojectsasassignedby Senior Management.
- Maintainregularattendance in accordancewithcompanypolicy.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’sdegree in ConstructionManagement, Engineering, or relevant field &minimum twoyearsconstructionschedulingexperience; orequivalentcombinationoftraining and experience.
- Four to five years of construction scheduling experience in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Experience as a Project Engineer ispreferred.
- Mustbeproficient in P6 and knowledgeable with Critical Path Method (CPM).
- Construction operationsexperiencestronglypreferred. Solar and renewable energy industry experience is a plus.
- Thoroughknowledgeofdiversifiedscheduleengineeringsystems, principles, and practices.
- Provenability, creativity, and maturejudgment in anticipating and solvingunprecedentedproblems essential.
- Ability towork in a cross-functional, collaborative, team-basedenvironment.
- Excellentanalytical and criticalthinkingskillswith initiative toseek innovative solutions.
