If you're a seasoned Project Scheduler who thrives in complex, multi-partner environments and understands what it takes to keep weapon system programs on track, this is your opportunity to make a real impact.This is a fully on-site position in Huntsville, AL.What You'll DoIntegrated Master SchedulingDevelop, maintain, and analyze the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) using Microsoft Project in accordance with DoD requirementsBuild resource-loaded schedules, assigning labor categories, hours, and costsIntegrate subcontractor schedules, milestones, and dependencies into the prime IMSEstablish logical relationships, dependencies, and lead/lag structures to create network-driven schedulesPerform Critical Path Method (CPM) analysis and generate forward-looking schedule forecastsProgram Execution & Performance AnalysisTrack schedule performance across production, fielding, and sustainment phasesConduct schedule variance analysis (SV, SPI) and assess impacts to cost, resources, and milestonesDevelop schedule health metrics, risk assessments, and what-if scenariosSupport Earned Value Management (EVM) activities on compliant programsIdentify schedule risks and present mitigation strategies to the Program ManagerCross-Functional & Government CoordinationCollaborate with program leadership, engineering, logistics, subcontract management, and test teamsCollect task updates, progress metrics, and dependencies from cross-functional teamsServe as the scheduling interface to the Government Program Office, supporting IPTs and formal reviewsPrepare schedule data and analysis for major program reviews and decision pointsLifecycle Schedule SupportDevelop schedules aligned with full weapon system lifecycle activities, including:Full-Rate Production (FRP)Fielding and New Equipment Training (NET)Sustainment, depot maintenance, and configuration managementTechnology refresh and obsolescence managementEnsure schedules meet DoD guidance, customer reporting requirements, and contractual deliverablesWhat You BringBachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management, or related field or equivalent experience4+ years of DoD project scheduling experienceAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Project, including resource loading and critical path analysisProven experience developing IMSs for complex defense or technical programsStrong understanding of weapon system lifecycle phasesExperience integrating and coordinating schedules across multiple subcontractorsBackground supporting EVM-compliant programsKnowledge of schedule risk assessments (SRA) and risk management processesExperience supporting Army, Navy, Air Force, or Joint Program Office programsActive or ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance (or higher)
