Description:

CTG is seeking to fill a Project Scheduler Nuclear Projects II position for our client.

 

Location: Richland, WA

Duration: 12 months

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and status integrated project schedules for nuclear and engineering projects using Primavera P6 and Passport
  • Define sequencing logic, durations, milestones, and critical path activities for outage, on-line, and life-cycle work
  • Perform ongoing schedule maintenance, updates, and data integration between scheduling systems
  • Identify, analyze, and report critical path, float, schedule variance, and performance impacts
  • Support project managers with baseline schedule development, progress tracking, and schedule forecasting
  • Assist in resolving schedule conflicts, delays, and resource constraints through analysis and coordination
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and operations teams to ensure schedule alignment
  • Prepare clear schedule status reports and present updates to project teams and leadership
  • Support risk-informed scheduling, resource loading, and execution planning

Required Skills:

  • Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6 and scheduling tools such as Passport
  • Strong understanding of Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling techniques
  • Ability to build and maintain complex, integrated project schedules
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Knowledge of outage planning, project lifecycle sequencing, and work control processes
  • Strong communication skills with ability to work across technical and management teams

Experience:

  • Experience in project controls, planning, or scheduling within complex industrial or capital project environments
  • Demonstrated experience supporting schedule development, maintenance, forecasting, and reporting
  • Experience working in multi-discipline project teams supporting execution planning and control

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, project management, business, or related field
    OR
  • Associate’s degree in a related technical field plus 2 years of relevant experience
    OR
  • High School Diploma/GED plus 4 years of relevant technical experience

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $89.00 to $95.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
