Position Summary

The Project Scheduler develops, manages and updates project schedules to align Owner capacity timelines, general contractor timelines and overall project objectives. This role supports mechanical, electrical, plumbing and structured cabling scopes and partners with project management and field teams to provide resource projections, impact analyses, progress updates and client-facing schedule reports.

Position Details

  • Analyze bid-day schedules for feasibility and risk and prepare interview presentation schedules when required to support preconstruction planning and project pursuits.
  • Develop detailed Takt and CPM logic schedules with Project Management and Supervision; establish the baseline using the general contractor's contract schedule and accurately integrate MEP and structured cabling scopes.
  • Integrate the procurement schedule, Takt plan and CPM schedule within the Owner's end-to-end schedule; create detailed activities, define sequencing and consolidate manhour breakdowns for resource loading.
  • Perform daily, weekly, monthly or as-needed schedule updates; update percent complete, document logic changes and narratives and identify schedule impacts, constraints and opportunities.
  • Generate look-ahead schedules, manpower projections and Planned vs. Earned progress reports to support near-term planning, resource decisions and evaluation of project health.
  • Analyze general contractor schedule updates for continued alignment with the Takt plan, procurement schedule and internal commitments; prepare narratives, variance reports and client-facing schedule updates.
  • Assist Project Managers with schedule impact studies, including delay analysis and resequencing, and recommend practical recovery or mitigation options based on current project conditions.
  • Conduct periodic jobsite visits to validate schedule progress and gather field data and perform other assignments that support project goals and client satisfaction.
  • Independently develops and maintains schedules within approved project requirements, scheduling standards and contract commitments. Evaluates logic, progress and resource data and recommends corrective actions, while partnering with Project Management and Supervision on changes that materially affect project milestones, client commitments, cost or field execution

Ability to wear required personal protective equipment and travel to assigned project locations as required.
