Location: New Albany, Ohio (Onsite)

Role Overview

We are seeking a Project Scheduler Staff member to act as a technical subject matter expert for project scheduling. This role is responsible for supporting and providing guidance on the development and analysis of project schedule deliverables. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, communicative, and team-focused individual with demonstrated expertise in scheduling techniques and analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Define activities, durations, work sequences, and relationship logic to develop and implement the scope of work plan.
• Provide input and guidance in the development of fully integrated system schedules, including resource loading and leveling.
• Develop junior schedulers by organizing schedule review meetings and incorporating appropriate details.
• Engage with teams to create schedules, provide analysis updates, and communicate status to stakeholders, alerting them to risks and issues.
• Guide the administration of project management organizational standards.
• Administer or oversee the administration of security profiles and roles for new users within the scheduling system.
• Ensure schedulers use sound techniques for updating progress, acquiring information, baselining schedules, and tracking metrics.
• Diagnose and resolve issues with scope of work schedules.
• Own and lead the development, review, and implementation of project schedule standard work processes.
• Ensure consistent application of earned value management reporting, including SPI/CPI analysis.
• Work with project teams to provide risk assessments and recommended mitigation actions.

Required Qualifications

Education: A qualified Bachelors degree in a related field such as Accounting, Business, Construction Management, Engineering, or Project Management from an accredited university or college is required. An Associates degree in a related field is also considered.

Experience: With a qualified Bachelors degree, eight (8) years of qualified experience is required. With a qualified Associates degree, ten (10) years of qualified experience is required. A minimum of six (6) years of recent Primavera (P6) scheduling experience is necessary. Qualified experience includes utility-specific operations knowledge in areas such as design, planning, project management, cost tracking, or construction.

Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, including the ability to develop complex spreadsheets. Current or recent experience with Primavera (P6) is mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications

• Scheduling experience in Transmission, Substation, Construction, or Engineering.
• A relevant professional certification.
