We're seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Project Specialist to join our Assurance Operations team.

As a Project Specialist, you'll serve as a key operational resource to our audit and assurance professionals, helping manage workflows, maintain critical templates and documentation, coordinate projects, and support the processes that keep engagements running smoothly. Working across teams, you'll play an important role in improving consistency, efficiency, and operational excellence throughout the practice.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and ownership. You'll serve as a trusted resource for internal teams, contribute to process improvements, and help maintain the tools, templates, and workflows that support client service delivery.

What You'll Do

  • Coordinate and track client confirmation processes.
  • Maintain, update, and improve assurance templates, forms, and supporting documentation.
  • Support client file setup, engagement rollovers, and other operational workflows.
  • Assist with day-to-day assurance operations and process management.
  • Update templates and documents as firm methodologies and procedures evolve.
  • Provide troubleshooting and support for internal tools, workflows, and processes.
  • Partner with assurance professionals and operations leaders to improve consistency and efficiency.
  • Manage multiple projects and priorities while meeting deadlines and maintaining accuracy.
  • Communicate project status, priorities, and potential roadblocks to stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance the experience of internal teams.

What We're Looking For:

  • 2 year associate degree or 2+ years of experience in project coordination, operations, administrative support, professional services, client service, or a combination of both
  • Advanced Microsoft Word skills, including document formatting, editing, and document management.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel for tracking, organization, and reporting.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to learn new systems, software, and workflows quickly.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned responsibilities.
  • A collaborative, service-oriented mindset with a passion for helping others succeed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in an accounting firm, consulting firm, law firm, or other professional services environment.
  • Experience coordinating projects, operational initiatives, or process improvements.
  • Experience maintaining templates, documentation, records, or workflow-related materials.
  • Experience providing internal support, training, or troubleshooting assistance.
The salary range for this opportunity is stated above. As such, an actual salary may fall closer to one or the other end of the range, and in certain circumstances, may wind up being outside of the listed salary range.
