Project Superintendent

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial, renovation, and historic construction projects. As a Construction Superintendent, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the construction process, including scheduling, budgeting, subcontractor coordination, and quality control.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of the construction process, including scheduling, budgeting, and quality control.
• Manage subcontractors, ensuring that they are meeting project goals and timelines.
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with all building codes and safety regulations.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring that all work is completed on time and within budget.
• Manage all aspects of the construction site, including safety, cleanliness, and organization.
• Monitor construction progress and provide regular updates to project stakeholders.
• Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the construction process.
• Attend project meetings and provide input on construction-related issues.
• Ensure that all project documentation, including change orders and RFIs, are completed accurately and in a timely manner.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent, with a strong background in commercial, renovation, and historic construction projects
• Strong knowledge of building codes and safety regulations
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents, including blueprints and specifications.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
