Job Description

We are seeking a Project Tester to join our dynamic team supporting Lockbox within Payment and Deposit Operations. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in operational procedure development, test script creation and execution, and production support and a proven ability to analyze complex datasets, translate business requirements for technology teams, and drive process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Create, edit, and test application and operational procedures for Lockbox Operations and Support.
  • Write and execute test scripts for operational testing in process improvement projects.
  • Perform business analysis for payment and deposit applications across mainframe, PC, distributed, database, and web-based environments.
  • Mine data from primary and secondary sources, including complex joins across multiple datasets.
  • Provide ongoing production support as first-line contact for user inquiries and issues, including reporting, tracking, resolution, root cause analysis, and preventive measures.
  • Deliver quality support and service to internal and external partners and clients.
  • Participate in and guide Lockbox-related process initiatives and projects across associated applications and systems.
  • Translate business needs and requirements to Technology partners and convey technical information to Loan, Payment, and Operational Services and Lines of Business.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, ideally 2+ years in an operational or support environment.
  • Attention to detail in documenting and implementing requirements.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills with the ability to resolve issues.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including concise communication with senior management.
  • Ability to manage change, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to facilitate research and resolution of complex or ambiguous issues.
  • Proficiency with technology-based tools and databases, including Excel and Access.
  • Demonstrated adaptability, intellectual curiosity, and teamwork.

Preferred Skills:

  • 1-2 years of Operational Analyst experience, preferably in payments or deposits.
  • Technical proficiency with Windows systems and software.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with Jira, including managing large datasets, pivot tables, and data visualization.
