Your impact

The Project Digital Delivery Coordinator supports the planning, coordination, and execution of digital delivery and BIM-related activities on assigned projects. Working under the direction of a Project Digital Delivery Lead, Digital Delivery Manager, Project Manager, Design Manager, or discipline lead, this role helps maintain project digital delivery documentation, coordinate model and data workflows, support collaboration platforms, track digital delivery actions, and assist with quality checks and project reporting.

The ideal candidate is organized, responsive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with multidisciplinary teams. They should have strong Microsoft Office skills, a willingness to learn digital delivery tools and processes, and the ability to follow guidance, communicate clearly, track actions, and escalate issues appropriately.

Key Responsibilities

Project Digital Delivery Support & Mobilization

  • Support the preparation, maintenance, and updating of project-specific Digital Delivery Plans, BIM Execution Plans, model coordination plans, and related project documentation under supervision.
  • Assist with digital delivery kickoff activities, onboarding materials, meeting preparation, and project mobilization tasks.
  • Help collect and organize project information related to digital delivery scope, deliverables, standards, schedules, contacts, and submission requirements.
  • Support alignment of digital delivery documentation with project requirements by following templates, checklists, and direction from senior team members.
  • Track approvals, comments, updates, and action items associated with digital delivery and BIM execution documentation.

Digital Delivery Execution & Coordination Support

  • Assist with day-to-day digital delivery and BIM coordination activities across project teams and disciplines.
  • Support coordination between project management, design teams, construction teams, subconsultants, and delivery partners by organizing information, tracking actions, and following up on assigned items.
  • Maintain issue logs, action registers, meeting notes, status trackers, and digital delivery progress updates as directed.
  • Help identify digital delivery issues, missing information, workflow barriers, or quality concerns and escalate them to the appropriate lead or manager.
  • Support permitting, construction coordination, handover, sustainability, and other project workflows where digital information or documentation is required.

Model Coordination, Deliverables & Quality Support

  • Assist with model coordination meetings, clash review preparation, issue tracking, and follow-up activities.
  • Support discipline teams by helping organize model files, drawing packages, data exports, review comments, and coordination outputs.
  • Perform basic checks of drawings, models, file naming, metadata, and submission packages using established checklists and review procedures.
  • Help verify that assigned digital deliverables are uploaded, organized, and submitted in accordance with project requirements.
  • Support project and design leadership with digital delivery reporting, review preparation, and documentation of decisions or action items.

Standards, Data & Information Management Support

  • Follow project digital delivery, BIM, CAD, GIS, document control, and information management standards as directed.
  • Support the use and maintenance of the project common data environment and collaboration platforms.
  • Assist with file organization, naming conventions, folder structures, permissions requests, transmittals, milestone submissions, archiving, and closeout documentation.
  • Help maintain logs and trackers for digital deliverables, model exchanges, information requests, review comments, and record information.
  • Support compliance with applicable information management requirements, including ISO 19650 where used on the project, under guidance from more experienced staff.

Tools, Technology & IT Coordination Support

  • Use approved digital delivery, BIM, CAD, GIS, document control, collaboration, and project tracking tools as required by the project.
  • Assist with tool setup, user access requests, workspace organization, and basic troubleshooting by following established procedures.
  • Document recurring tool or workflow issues and escalate technical problems to the appropriate digital delivery, project, or IT contact.
  • Support simple workflow improvements, automation opportunities, templates, dashboards, or reporting processes when guided by senior team members.
  • Maintain awareness of project technology requirements and help communicate updates or instructions to the project team.

Team Support, Learning & Communication

  • Participate in project meetings, coordination sessions, training activities, and lessons learned discussions.
  • Provide basic guidance to project team members on where to find digital delivery documents, standards, templates, and collaboration procedures.
  • Ask questions, seek feedback, and apply coaching from senior digital delivery and project team members.
  • Communicate assigned task status, risks, blockers, and support needs in a timely and professional manner.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned, documenting repeatable processes, and sharing observations with the team.

Client & Proposal Support

  • Support preparation of client-facing digital delivery materials, meeting notes, dashboards, reports, and deliverable trackers as directed.
  • Assist with responses to client comments or requests by gathering information and routing items to the appropriate lead.
  • Provide basic support to proposals and pursuits by collecting digital delivery examples, tool information, templates, or qualifications under supervision.
  • Participate in client or partner coordination meetings when appropriate, typically in a support or documentation role.

Required Qualifications

  • Foundational experience or training in digital delivery, BIM, CAD, GIS, document control, design coordination, engineering, architecture, construction, planning, permitting, or a related project delivery environment.
  • Basic understanding of project documentation, digital files, drawings, models, deliverables, coordination meetings, and multidisciplinary project workflows.
  • Ability to follow established standards, templates, checklists, and work instructions with attention to detail.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams, with ability to maintain logs, trackers, and basic reports.
  • Exposure to AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, BIM 360/Autodesk Construction Cloud, ProjectWise, SharePoint, GIS tools, model viewers, or similar platforms is helpful.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with ability to ask questions, document actions, and escalate issues appropriately.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with project managers, design teams, discipline leads, subconsultants, clients, and technology stakeholders under supervision.

Here's what you'll need

  • 0-2+ years of experience in a design, engineering, construction, digital delivery, BIM/CAD/GIS, document control, project coordination, permitting, or related environment.
  • Coursework, internship, certification, or hands-on exposure related to BIM, CAD, GIS, information management, construction technology, engineering technology, architecture, or project delivery.
  • Familiarity with Digital Delivery Plans, BIM Execution Plans, common data environments, model coordination, issue tracking, drawing/model review, or project information workflows.
  • Experience supporting document control, submission packages, meeting notes, action logs, dashboards, or project trackers.
  • Interest in developing digital delivery, BIM coordination, information management, automation, or project delivery skills.

The base salary range for this position is $66,300.00 to $91,100.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
