Responsibilities:
Cleans, strips, seals, and waxes floors in assigned areas using proper machines and procedures.
Cleans and disinfects isolation areas using proper isolation procedures.
Washes walls, lights, vents, and fans using ladders if necessary.
Performs trash removal from designated areas as assigned.
Moves furniture throughout hospital and satellite areas.
Shampoos carpets using various chemicals and machines.
Operates auto scrubber in hallways and burnishes floors using hi-speed buffing machines.
Cleans elevators and washes windows, using ladders if necessary.
Completes room set ups and day calls as assigned.
Performs minor mechanical repairs to housekeeping equipment, oils and greases equipment as needed.
Changes window blinds, draperies, and cubicle curtains as needed.
Schedule: Rotating days, weekends, and holidays. 3PM-11PM but can be pulled to other shifts/days/areas if needed based on hospital needs.
