Responsibilities:
- Cleans, strips, seals, and waxes floors in assigned areas using proper machines and procedures.
- Cleans and disinfects isolation areas using proper isolation procedures.
- Washes walls, lights, vents, and fans using ladders if necessary.
- Performs trash removal from designated areas as assigned.
- Moves furniture throughout hospital and satellite areas.
- Shampoos carpets using various chemicals and machines.
- Operates auto scrubber in hallways and burnishes floors using hi-speed buffing machines.
- Cleans elevators and washes windows, using ladders if necessary.
- Completes room set ups and day calls as assigned.
- Performs minor mechanical repairs to housekeeping equipment, oils and greases equipment as needed.
- Changes window blinds, draperies, and cubicle curtains as needed.
Schedule: Rotating days, weekends, and holidays. 3PM-11PM but can be pulled to other shifts/days/areas if needed based on hospital needs.

- Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting
- Act 33
- Act 34
- Act 73 FBI Clearance
