Snohomish County Facilities & Fleet is seeking a Project Advisor with a focus on building systems and electrical engineering. The department seeks an experienced technical expert to guide the project team and electrical group on complex building system projects, compliance reporting, and risk management. The role requires in-depth knowledge of Federal, State, and local regulations, along with practical experience applying principles of electricity, power distribution, programmable logic controls and electronic systems that encompass fire, life safety, access control, security, video, electrical and HVAC. Key requirements include managing projects, overseeing complex and critical building systems, leading teams, and possessing cross-functional knowledge of major building system operations.
BASIC FUNCTION
To assist and advise the Director in planning and coordinating special projects. Assumes lead responsibility of projects assigned. Provides coordination among departmental divisions and with external entities and manages work programs in the department.
