Sweetwater Propane is a small, locally owned, faith-based company providing reliable propane service across southern Pennsylvania and the Finger Lakes region of New York. With a focus on integrity, respect, and community, the team values its people and works to make a meaningful impact every day.

What You'll Do as a Propane Bobtail Driver:

• Deliver propane safely and on schedule to homes, farms, and businesses.
• Operate a propane bobtail while following all safety and transportation regulations.
• Inspect your truck daily and keep it clean and well-maintained.
• Report any safety issues, damage, or maintenance needs.
• Provide friendly, professional service to customers on every stop.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours and emergency deliveries.
• Work outdoors and drive in a variety of weather conditions.
• Travel locally (typically within ~35 miles of the shop). 

Our Ideal Propane Bobtail Driver:

• Certifications: Must be 25+ with a valid Class A or B CDL and Hazmat, Tanker, and Air Brake endorsements; must pass DOT physical and drug screen.
• Safety-focused: Prioritizes safety, follows regulations, and takes responsibility for doing the job right.
• Professional: Shows up consistently, represents the company well, and communicates clearly with customers.
• Adaptable: Handles changing conditions, schedules, and situations with a steady, problem-solving mindset.
• Team-oriented: Manages routes and responsibilities while staying connected and working well with others.
• Tech-capable: Basic computer skills for tracking deliveries and completing documentation.
• Physical Requirements: Able to lift and handle equipment weighing 50-75 lbs.

What We Offer Our Propane Bobtail Driver:

• Full-time position, Monday-Friday 6:00 AM-5:00 PM (hours may extend during winter months)
• On-call rotation for Saturdays during the winter season
• $28+/hour, depending on experience
