Position Title: Propane Service Manager

Reports to: Branch Manager

Job Summary:

Lampton Love Gas Company is looking for a Propane Service Manager who's ready to take ownership of operations, lead a skilled team, and deliver top-tier service to our customers. As a field-based leader, you'll spend time on-site supporting technicians, overseeing service work firsthand, and ensuring operations run smoothly where the work happens. Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the service operation – Lead all service activities including installations, maintenance, repairs, and inspections
  • Lead and develop your team – Hire, train, schedule, and mentor service technicians to perform at their best
  • Drive safety and compliance – Ensure full adherence to DOT, NFPA, and all regulatory standards
  • Be the go-to problem solver – Handle escalations, troubleshoot complex issues, and keep customers satisfied
  • Keep things running smoothly – Optimize workflows, improve processes, and maintain accurate service records
  • Respond when it matters most – Oversee emergency service calls and support critical response efforts
  • Champion a safety-first culture – Lead by example and continuously raise the bar

Qualifications:

  • Extensive knowledge of propane systems, appliances, and service practices
  • Demonstrated leadership ability (supervisory experience strongly preferred)
  • Solid understanding of safety regulations (HVAC or related field experience is a plus)
  • Excellent communication, organization, and decision-making skills
  • Hands-on approach with the ability to work effectively both in the field and in a management role
  • Valid driver's license (CDL preferred)
  • CETP certification or willingness to obtain
