Starting Pay: $18.50 an hour

Position Overview

The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely operating basic powered material handling equipment like Propane Sit-down forklifts to support product receiving, storage, and cross dock operations. This role ensures product safety, quality, and compliance with company standards.

Main Job Duties

• Perform full-case order picking for replenishment, customer orders, and packaging components
• Load/Unload Trailors manually or with equipment
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure accuracy of all transactions
• Load and unload pallets and cases from trucks and conveyor lines (manually or using equipment)
• Sort and build pallets according to customer specifications
• Operate shrink-wrap machinery to secure pallets
• Complete pre- and post-operation equipment inspections
• Re-Palletize pallets as needed

Qualifications

• Propane Sit-down Forklift with 12 months recent experience
• Must Work Every Other Saturday
• Steel toe or safety footwear
• Lifting up to 50lbs
• Cross dock Experience
• WMS and Handheld unit for inventory purposes (cycle counting, back counts and corrections) a BIG PLUS 
• Excellent Attendance
