Key Responsibilities

As the Property Accountant, you will:

• 
  
• Perform full-cycle accounting for an assigned portfolio of properties
• 
  
• Prepare journal entries, bank reconciliations, and balance sheet reconciliations
• 
  
• Complete month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
• 
  
• Prepare monthly financial statements and analyze financial results
• 
  
• Partner with property managers and ownership groups to resolve accounting issues and answer financial questions
• 
  
• Support onboarding of new properties and process improvement initiatives
• 
  

Qualifications

Ideal candidates for this Property Accountant role will have:

• 
  
• 2+ years of property accounting experience
• 
  
• Experience with full-cycle accounting and month-end close
• 
  
• Experience working with multiple properties and managing competing deadlines
• 
  
• Yardi or similar property management software experience preferred
• 
  
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
•
