Location: Boston, MA

Salary Range: $70,000 - $85,000

CFS is partnering with a growing real estate organization in seeking a Property Accountant to manage the accounting and financial reporting for a portfolio of properties. This role is responsible for month-end close, financial statement preparation, account reconciliations, budgeting support, and analysis of property operations.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly financial statements and reports.
• 
  
• Perform bank and general ledger reconciliations.
• 
  
• Record journal entries and maintain accurate accounting records.
• 
  
• Assist with budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
• 
  
• Review property expenses and tenant-related accounting activity.
• 
  
• Support audits and ensure compliance with accounting policies.
• 
  

Qualifications:

• 
  
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 
  
• 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in real estate or property management.
• 
  
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
• 
  
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (Yardi or MRI preferred).
