CFS is paired with a real estate property management firm looking to add a Property Accountant to their team.

About the Company Seeking a Property Accountant:

Founded over thirty years ago, this company helps with all parts of the real estate business from construction, to property management, to property marketing
The growth they are experiencing is in line with current real estate projections for the Boston area; this is a stably growing entity
They have managed well-known development projects in the Boston area, and are present in several US states
Hybrid working environment

Responsibilities of the Property Accountant Role:

Responsible for representing and closing 15 to 20 properties per monthly in full
Update monthly property workbooks that codifies month-end process
Process invoices, vendor communication, resolve discrepancies, in a timely manner
Upload information for budget template and support Account Executives in the annual budget process
Timely completion of bank reconciliations and on-going cash position of properties
Analyze monthly financial package and support budget-to-actual variance analysis
Monthly client financial package completion
Complete year end audit packages

Qualifications for the Property Accountant:

3-5 years' experience in property accounting
- Experience with commercial retail properties is desired
Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related experience
Experience in Yardi is preferred; experience in MRI is a huge plus

Salary Range, negotiable depending on experience:
$70,000 - 80,000
