Creative Financial Staffing has partnered with a rapidly growing Real Estate and Development company in the search for a Property Accountant.

Responsibilities of the Property Accountant include but are not limited to:



  • General ledger maintenance, reconciliations, and work papers for a diverse portfolio of commercial and residential properties

  • Record journal entries as needed

  • Reconcile CAM’s, bill backs and calculate escalations

  • Provide budget to actual variance analysis

  • Act as a resource for Director of Operations, Regional Managers, Property Administration Staff and Accounting Department Personnel on accounting issues

  • Assist in preparing year end and quarterly financial statements for investment funds

  • Maintain, reconcile, and record monthly third party property management accounting

  • Provide back up and support to the Fund Controller and Assistant Controller as needed

  • Prepare special reports and projects, collect, analyze and summarize information and trends


Property Accountant requirements:



  • BS degree in Accounting or related discipline

  • 1+ years of experience within real estate accounting

  • Very strong excel skills

  • RealPage experience preferred but not required
