In this role, you'll help ensure accurate financial tracking, assist with day-to-day operations, and contribute to a positive experience for both residents and internal teams. Strong attention to detail, organization, and collaboration are key to success in this position. By overseeing critical financial processes and maintaining accurate, timely reporting, you'll play a key role in upholding the Greco Seal of Approval through strong fiscal stewardship across each property.Accounting:Accounts Receivable:Generate weekly delinquency reports and monitor outstanding receivablesAccurately post charges/credits to resident accounts (i.e. Late fees, reservation fees, move-out charges, etc.)Manage rent and fee collections, and coordinate the submission of uncollectible balances to third-party collection agencies or conciliation court for judgementMonthly delinquency reportingDeposit checksReview of monthly UMS collection reportsAccounts Payable:Process payables Review and reconcile vendor statementsProcess weekly check runsMonthly Financial Process:Complete bank reconciliationsPost reclassifications and accrual entriesRecord journal entries accurately and timelyReconcile monthly income statements and balance sheetsReconcile monthly rental and parking incomeAnnual/Semi-Annual Responsibilities:Assist with preparing and distributing 1099 forms to vendors and government agenciesPrepare and issue annual CRP tax forms to residents.Assist with year-end procedures.Assist the Accounting Manager with Annual Budget Preparation.PM Software Management:Resident Data Management:Assist with posting charges and credits, ensuring resident account balances are correct.Verify and review automated late fees prior to postingStatement of Deposit Account reconciliationResident ActivityMove-insRenewalsRoommate changes & TransfersAdd/DropsMove-outsAdministrative/Auditing:Review and reconcile monthly lease audits. Perform subscriber audits on a monthly basis. Oversee UMS processes: move-ins, move-outs, and receivable management. Conduct quarterly vendor audits and manage aged payables. Monthly utility audits.Assist with other duties as assigned.Minimum and/or Preferred Requirements:Bachelor's degree in accounting preferred, or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience, with a minimum of 2 years of accounting experience required.Property management experience is required.Yardi software required.Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
