Key Responsibilities of the Property Accountant

• Review lease agreements and property contracts to track recurring expenses, remittances, and ownership information as the Property Accountant
• 
  
• Communicate professionally with landlords regarding account activity, documentation, and payment-related inquiries as the Property Accountant
• 
  
• Reconcile payments and maintain accurate general ledger records across a portfolio of 300–400 locations as the Property Accountant
• 
  
• Process accounts receivable and expense transactions to support accurate profit and loss reporting as the Property Accountant
• 
  
• Assist with journal entries, account analysis, financial comparisons, and documentation review as the Property Accountant
• 
  

Qualifications for the Property Accountant

• 
  
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
• 
  
• 1+ year of accounting experience, internship experience, or relevant accounting exposure preferred
• 
  
• Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, with excellent analytical and organizational abilities
