    Description

    OVERVIEW
    A full-service real estate organization is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to oversee accounting functions across multiple business divisions. This is a full-time role reporting directly to executive leadership, ideal for a candidate with a strong accounting foundation and a passion for real estate operations, development, and property management.
     
    WHAT YOU'LL DO
    • Manage monthly and year-end reconciliations for assigned properties
    • Oversee balance sheet account reconciliations and transaction troubleshooting
    • Process agent commissions and assist with insurance claim reviews
    • Analyze financials related to profitability, capital expenditures, and budget performance
    • Assist with the annual budgeting process
    • Collaborate with the CFO and Accounting Manager on ad hoc projects

    WHAT IT TAKES
    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
    • Minimum of 2+ years of accounting experience
    • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); experience with Lone Wolf or Yardi is a plus
    • Real estate industry experience strongly preferred
