Property Accountant

Now Hiring: Senior Property Accountant | Richmond, VA

Are you an experienced accountant with a background in commercial or multifamily real estate? We're partnering with a well-respected Richmond organization seeking a Senior Property Accountant to join their growing team.

Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements for a portfolio of commercial and multifamily properties

Perform bank reconciliations, journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and cash flow analysis

Assist with budgeting, forecasting, owner distributions, audits, and year-end reporting

Support property onboarding activities and collaborate closely with property management teams

Mentor and support junior accounting staff

What We're Looking For:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting (CPA preferred)

5+ years of accounting experience

Strong financial statement preparation and GAAP reporting experience

Advanced Excel skills

Real estate accounting experience required

MRI or Yardi experience is a plus

This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys working independently, building client relationships, and making a meaningful impact within a collaborative team environment.

Pay Details: $75,000.00 to $85,000.00 per year
