Property Accountant

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Property Accountant to serve as a key financial partner to our clients Property Management team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate reporting, billing integrity, and strong financial performance across a growing portfolio. Interested in more details? Core duties and responsibilities include:

• Support annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis to drive NOI performance
• Prepare CAM, tax, and insurance reconciliations, ensuring lease compliance
• Oversee lease abstracts, billing accuracy, and revenue recognition
• Manage tenant recoveries and assist with dispute resolution
• Track CPI escalations and maintain compliance for government leases
• Assist with month-end/year-end close, including journal entries and accruals
• Produce property-level financials and reporting packages
• Support audits, reconciliations, and process improvements

Required skills and qualifications:

• Experience in property accounting or real estate finance
• Strong understanding of CAM recoveries, lease structures, and billing
• Proficiency in financial reporting, reconciliations, and close processes
• High attention to detail with strong analytical skills
• Ability to partner cross-functionally with Property Management teams
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems (Yardi, MRI, or similar is a plus)

Compensation:

The salary range for this position is from $85K to $100K, depending on experience.
