Property Accountant - West Palm Beach

Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly financial statements, variance explanations, and supporting schedules for commercial properties.
• Record journal entries, maintain GL accuracy, and perform month-end closing.
• Manage weekly cash updates, bank activity reviews, and monthly bank reconciliations.
• Handle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• Prepare management fee invoices, rent reconciliations, and distribution schedules.
• Support monthly lender draws, reporting packages, and annual CAM reconciliations.
• Assist with annual budgets, audits, and ad hoc financial analyses.
• Set up new leases and amendments in Yardi.
• Prepare and file monthly sales tax returns.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Ideally 4+ years of property accounting experience, though candidates with at least 2 years will be considered.
• Exposure to commercial properties and Yardi is a plus.
• Proficient in Excel and accounting software.
• Strong interpersonal skills, detail-oriented, and a positive team player.
