Under direct supervision, resolves claims by investigating losses, negotiating settlements, while maintaining adequate production levels. College degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Completion of Crawford and Company basic property class, and/or continuing education required for advancement. Good verbal and written communication skills. Good attention to detail. Strong analytical and mathematical ability. Solid time management skills and organizational ability. Strong interpersonal skills Ability to handle challenging situations and people with tact and diplomacy. Outside adjusters must have a valid drivers license. Must complete continuing education requirements as outlined by Crawford Educational Services. A variable schedule including on-call may be required. Depending on case load you may be required to work beyond normal business hours when necessary. Travel may be required during/outside of normal business hours when necessary.
