We are seeking a Property Condition Assessor to join a growing real estate due diligence consulting practice. This role is focused on evaluating multifamily assets nationwide, supporting underwriting, capital planning, and investment decisions.

You will play a hands-on role in assessing property conditions and contributing to Capital Needs Assessments (CNAs), helping clients understand both immediate repair needs and long-term capital requirements.

What You Will Do:
  • Conduct on-site inspections of multifamily properties across the United States
  • Evaluate building systems, structural components, and overall asset condition
  • Identify deferred maintenance and near-term repair needs
  • Support the preparation of Capital Needs Assessments (CNAs) and/or Property Condition Assessments (PCAs)
  • Assist in developing capital reserve schedules and cost estimates
  • Document findings through clear, detailed reports and photo documentation
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support due diligence and underwriting processes
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards and reporting guidelines

What We Are Looking For:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience supporting or completing PCAs and/or CNAs
  • Solid understanding of building systems and property evaluations
  • Ability to travel frequently, often on short notice
  • Based near a major metropolitan area with access to a major airport preferred
  • Strong analytical, observational, and report-writing skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with inspection/reporting tools is a plus

Why Join This Opportunity

  • Exposure to diverse property types and markets nationwide
  • Opportunity to build technical expertise in due diligence and capital planning
  • High-impact role supporting real estate investment decisions
