Your new role
\n
As a Property Coordinator, you will support the Property Manager in the day-to-day management of a portfolio of retail shopping centers. This role is heavily focused on property administration, tenant and vendor relations, service request management, and operational support. You will play a key role in ensuring properties operate efficiently while delivering best-in-class service to tenants and vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support the Property Manager with daily operations across a portfolio of retail properties
- \n
- Collect vendor bids and prepare contracts for repairs, maintenance, and capital improvement projects
- \n
- Review, code, and process vendor invoices and job cost documentation
- \n
- Coordinate vendor services, property maintenance, and annual inspections
- \n
- Manage utility account openings, closings, and related documentation
- \n
- Assist with vacancy cleanouts, vacancy profiles, and property transition activities
- \n
- Support the preparation and maintenance of emergency response plans for properties
- \n
- Assist with annual budget preparation and expense tracking
- \n
- Coordinate travel arrangements and expense reports
- \n
- Review and respond to service requests through the company's customer service platform
- \n
- Issue work orders and follow up with vendors to ensure timely completion
- \n
- Maintain accurate property records and administrative documentation
- \n
- Build and maintain strong relationships with tenants through verbal and written communication
- \n
- Partner with vendors and internal teams to ensure operational excellence across the portfolio
- \n

What you'll need to succeed
\n
- \n
- Background in retail commercial real estate
- \n
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a fast-paced corporate environment
- \n
- Prior administrative or property administration experience
- \n
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- \n
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Access
- \n
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- \n
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- \n
- Strong customer service and relationship management abilities
- \n
- Detail-oriented with the ability to follow through on multiple projects and deadlines
- \n
- Technology-forward mindset with an interest in leveraging AI and emerging technologies to improve efficiency
- \n
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing responsibilities independently
