The Property & Facility Maintenance Manager is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across a large church facility and its surrounding grounds. This role requires strong facility-maintenance knowledge, sound judgment, and the interpersonal skills to work effectively with parish members, staff, vendors, and the broader community.

Working under the direction of the Rector, the Manager supports the daily operation of the parish through dependable property upkeep, hospitality, communication, and professionalism. Regular collaboration with the Rector and staff is an important part of the position, along with maintaining discretion and confidentiality.
 
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Monitor, report and resolve any property issues, as well as safety protocols of the property
Fix or contract for property repairs
Building maintenance including small repairs, painting, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, etc.
Maintenance of property-related equipment
Skillsets include proper use of tools, ladders, etc.
Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service providers to schedule repairs, inspections, and upgrades in a timely manner
Provide complete cleaning services for the building and outside property
Contact for property related outside services
Obtain, manage, and communicate all property related quotes
Possess basic computer and email skills
Manage annual property contracts:
Snow removal
Lawn mowing
Landscape

Oversee and/or implement set-up of rooms for special events based on requests
Effectively schedule and follow through on projects
Work collaboratively with staff and volunteers regarding property issues and activities
Perform other tasks assigned by the Rector as needed
Possess good communication and people skills
Be on call for issues that happen outside normal working hours
