Property Field Claims Representative- New Hampshire

POSITION SUMMARY:

Countryway is seeking a customer focused Property Field Claims Representative to join our claims team in New Hampshire. The Property Field Claims Representative (PFCR) handles property damage and liability claims and provides efficient settlements in accordance with company procedures and standards.

LOCATION

Field based position in New Hampshire. Company Auto provided with covered gas, insurance, and maintenance. This position will be remote and must be based in New Hampshire to be considered. No relocation offered.

POSITION

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm, position will require occasional overnight travel.

PRIMARY DUTIES

• Investigate all losses assigned.
• Comply with company policies and procedures in the handling of all losses and other company matters.
• Report all activity on all claim files to the company promptly.
• Promptly reply to all complaints as requested.
• Evaluate and Estimate claims using photos, measurements, estimating platforms, and other available resources.
• Assist and give guidance to all other claims personnel as requested.
• Advise Underwriting Department on all potential adverse risks.
• Comply with Unfair Claim Settlement Practices Act
• All other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

• College degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 2 years Equivalent/Applicable prior property insurance claims experience.
• Completion of AIC, CPCU or SCLA designation within 3 years of start date.

• Proficient in Xactimate
• Good understanding of building components

• High level of initiative and self-motivation
• Strong analytical/problem solving skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 5 years previous property claims experience
• Knowledge of insurance contracts
• Experience with casualty insurance claims
