Our client is a full-service property management and general contracting company focused on delivering quality housing and responsive service. We are expanding our footprint within the portfolio in Lewiston/ Auburn, ME and are looking for a reliable, skilled Maintenance Technician to join our growing team.

Pay is $24-$28 per hour. There is one interview and start ASAP.

Full time role, Monday - Friday with weekly pay

**Position Overview: **

The Maintenance Technician will play a critical role in ensuring the buildings within our established Lewiston/Auburn portfolio are well-maintained, safe, and comfortable for residents. This individual will be responsible for handling unit turns, responding to work orders, making repairs, and maintaining the physical quality and appearance of the properties.

**Key Responsibilities: **

• Safely maintain the physical condition and appearance of the buildings. • Complete maintenance work orders within 24-48 hours.

• Handle unit turnovers, including painting, patching, flooring, appliance installs, light plumbing, and light electrical work.

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems and fixtures. • Inspect and clean common areas including hallways, stairwells, lobbies, parking lots, lawns, and dumpsters.

• Remove trash and debris; change light bulbs in common areas and exterior fixtures.

• Coordinate with property managers to maintain inventory of tools, materials, and supplies.

• Accurately complete and submit all required paperwork daily, including work orders and turnover documentation.

• Work respectfully, professionally, and cooperatively with residents and team members.

• Maintain confidentiality regarding tenant information.

• Assist with snow removal, groundskeeping, and seasonal maintenance as needed.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications: **

• 2+ years of hands-on property maintenance experience preferred. • Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and appliance repair. • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license required.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment. • Must be able to pass a background check.
