Property Maintenance

Our client, a community-focused organization dedicated to maintaining a welcoming and well-kept environment, is seeking a Groundskeepers to join their team. As a Groundskeepers, you will be part of the Facilities Support team supporting the maintenance and upkeep of church grounds and facilities. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, a proactive attitude, and strong work ethic, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Groundskeeper

Location: Somerset, NJ

Pay Range: $19.00 per hour 

Shift: (Part Time) 8:00am - 12:00pm, Sunday through Friday

What's the Job?

• Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and minor repairs of church buildings and facilities
• Ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of all church grounds, including landscaping, lawn care, snow removal, and trash disposal
• Support church events by setting up and breaking down furniture, equipment, and audio-visual components
• Oversee organization and proper storage of church materials, supplies, and equipment
• Assist with custodial duties, including cleaning, restocking supplies, and maintaining hygiene standards

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certification preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in building maintenance, custodial work, or a related field
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building systems
• Proficiency with maintenance tools, landscaping equipment, and custodial supplies
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs., stand for extended periods, and perform physically demanding tasks
