Certified Apartment Staffing is seeking a strong, experienced Lead Maintenance Technician for an apartment community in Covington, LA. We need someone who can hit the ground running, work independently, and lead the maintenance team effectively.

REQUIREMENTS

• Multifamily/apartment maintenance experience REQUIRED
• Previous Lead Maintenance Technician experience REQUIRED
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, and appliance repair
• Experience handling work orders, unit turns, and preventative maintenance
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose maintenance issues
• Able to prioritize daily maintenance needs and keep work moving efficiently
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
• Must be available to start ASAP

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead daily maintenance operations and prioritize work orders
• Complete apartment make-ready/unit turns
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and other building systems
• Perform preventative maintenance and property inspections
• Help train and guide maintenance team members
• Maintain property grounds, common areas, and equipment
• Respond professionally to resident maintenance requests
• Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to property standards
