Position SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated Property Maintenance Technician to join our team on a 1099 contract basis. This individual will be responsible for addressing maintenance requests, performing general repairs, and completing apartment turns between tenants. The ideal candidate is experienced in various trades, self-motivated, professional, and responsive to the needs of residents and property management.Key ResponsibilitiesRespond promptly to maintenance requests and service callsPerform routine maintenance and repairs, including but not limited to: plumbing, electrical, HVAC troubleshooting, drywall repair, painting, and appliance installationComplete apartment turns including cleaning, touch-ups, hardware replacement, and any necessary repairsConduct regular property inspections and preventative maintenanceMaintain a professional and courteous demeanor with residents and staffDocument work performed and communicate job status through the property management systemEnsure all work meets safety standards and complies with local building codesRequirementsProven experience in general maintenance, handyman work, or a skilled tradeOwn tools and reliable transportationAbility to work independently and manage time effectivelyExcellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsStrong communication and customer service abilitiesSmartphone with camera and email access for job documentation and updatesMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasksValid driver's license and clean driving recordMust pass a background check
