Property Maintenance Technician - Temp to Hire Position

We are seeking an experienced Property Maintenance Technician for a full-time opportunity with a local property management company. This position is responsible for completing maintenance and repair work within residential properties and requires someone who is dependable, professional, and comfortable working independently.

Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of property maintenance or comparable hands-on maintenance experience and possess their own basic set of tools.

Responsibilities:

• Complete general maintenance and repairs within residential properties
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, and general building maintenance issues
• Perform minor carpentry, drywall, painting, and other property repairs as needed
• Complete work orders accurately and efficiently
• Identify maintenance concerns and determine appropriate repairs
• Safely operate hand and power tools
• Maintain a professional demeanor while working inside occupied residences
• Communicate effectively with property management and residents
• Maintain clean and safe work areas
• Perform preventative maintenance as assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of property maintenance or related maintenance experience
• Must have your own basic set of tools
• Strong knowledge of general residential repairs and maintenance
• Ability to troubleshoot maintenance issues independently
• HVAC experience is a PLUS
• Dependable attendance and reliable transportation
• Ability to work independently and manage assigned work orders
• Professional appearance and conduct are required when entering residents' homes

This position requires employees to enter occupied and unoccupied residential properties. Candidates must successfully complete a background check and meet the client's background requirements before placement.
