Job Title: Property Manager
Location: Brooklyn, NY

Schedule: Full-time, onsite (on-call required)
Salary: $70,000 - $110,000 annually (dependent on experience)
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Property Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of residential properties in Brooklyn, NY. This role is responsible for ensuring operational efficiency, maintaining compliance, and fostering positive tenant relationships while supporting overall property performance.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily property operations, including maintenance, tenant relations, and compliance
Manage rent collection, lease administration, and occupancy levels
Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to ensure timely property upkeep
Address tenant inquiries and resolve issues in a timely, professional manner
Maintain accurate records and reporting related to property performance
Ensure compliance with affordable housing regulations, including LIHTC requirements
Conduct property inspections and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards
Support budgeting processes and monitor operating expenses
Participate in on-call rotation to address urgent property needs
Qualifications
Minimum of 2+ years of property management experience
Affordable housing management experience preferred
LIHTC certification required within six (6) months of hire
Certified Housing Assistant Manager (CHAM) designation preferred
Bilingual in Spanish and English strongly preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with intermediate to advanced Excel skills
Experience with Yardi or similar property management software preferred
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and working relationships effectively
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
