Diamond Management Group is a privately owned property management company. We are seeking an experiencedHUD Compliance Specialist to oversee compliance for our portfolio of four Project-Based Section 8 (PBRA) communities.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced compliance professional who can work independently, maintain regulatory compliance, and support property operations.
Responsibilities
- Process Annual and Interim Recertifications.
- Maintain compliance with HUD Handbook 4350.3.
- Complete and review Enterprise Income Verification (EIV).
- Process and monitor TRACS submissions.
- Ensure compliance with HOTMA requirements.
- Review tenant eligibility and income calculations.
- Prepare files for Management & Occupancy Reviews (MORs).
- Conduct file audits and correct compliance deficiencies.
- Interpret HUD regulations and provide guidance to onsite staff.
- Maintain accurate resident files and compliance documentation.
- Work closely with management to ensure all HUD requirements are met.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of Project-Based Section 8 (PBRA) compliance experience.
- Extensive knowledge of HUD Handbook 4350.3.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Annual & Interim Recertifications
- EIV
- TRACS
- HOTMA
- HUD file reviews
- Management & Occupancy Reviews (MORs)
- Experience using Yardi (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of Fair Housing regulations.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Preferred Certifications
- Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS)
- Certified Professional of Occupancy (CPO)
- Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP)
- Other HUD or affordable housing certifications are a plus.
