About the role:
We are seeking a highly detailed and compassionate Property Manager to oversee our 55+ Senior Affordable Housing Community.
The ideal candidate will balance day-to-day operations with strict adherence to Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) regulations.
You will be responsible for maintaining a safe, vibrant community for all older adult residents while ensuring 100% compliance with federal, state, and local housing guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
LIHTC Compliance:
Execute initial income certifications, annual file recertifications in accordance with the IHCDA Compliance Manual.
Senior Tenant Relations:
Manage the 55+ age-verification process, maintain a waitlist.
Audit Preparation:
Keep all tenant files audit-ready for state agency desk reviews, physical file inspections, and physical asset monitoring.
Community Engagement:
Coordinate age-appropriate resident activities
Property Maintenance:
Partner with maintenance staff to resolve work orders quickly, keeping the building safe, accessible, and compliant with state guidelines.
Financial Management:
Direct rent collections, monitor local operating budgets, and handle financial reporting.
