Now Hiring: Roving Property Manager - Portland, OR 97236

Pay: $27/hr

Schedule: Monday-Friday

Opportunity Type: Contract or Contract-to-Hire

BG Staffing is seeking an experienced and highly organized Roving Property Manager to support multiple apartment communities throughout the Portland, OR area. This role is ideal for a confident leader who excels in property operations, resident relations, team support, and managing multiple locations as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily property operations and onsite staff at assigned communities
  • Travel between properties to provide management coverage and operational support
  • Manage leasing, renewals, rent collection, and resident relations
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, Fair Housing laws, and community standards
  • Prepare financial reports, monitor budgets, and manage vendor relationships
  • Maintain accurate resident files and property documentation
  • Support marketing initiatives and occupancy goals across assigned properties
  • Address resident concerns with professionalism and urgency
  • Ensure communities remain clean, safe, and well-maintained
  • Assist with special projects, staffing coverage, and property transitions as needed

Requirements

  • Previous Property Manager experience required
  • Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills
  • Ability to effectively manage operations, staff, and resident needs across multiple communities
  • Knowledge of property management software preferred
  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel between assigned properties
  • Organized, dependable, and able to work independently
  • Professional demeanor with excellent problem-solving abilities
