Job Title: Staff Accountant

Location: Laguna Beach, CA

Salary: $60,000 - $80,000

Work Schedule: Full-time, In-office (8:30 AM 5:00 PM)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Staff Accountant to join our dynamic team. This full-time, in-office role is ideal for individuals with a strong background in commercial real estate accounting and expertise in using Yardi software. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess a passion for real estate and finance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform full-cycle accounting duties, including accounts payable (A/P), accounts receivable (A/R), general ledger maintenance, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Prepare and review monthly internal and investor financial packages.
• Manage and oversee third-party property management accounting teams.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to support business objectives.
• Utilize Yardi software for real estate accounting and reporting.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial real estate accounting.
• Strong proficiency in Yardi software (required).
• Exceptional multitasking, organizational, and time management skills.
• Positive attitude with a collaborative and team-oriented mindset.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical thinking abilities.
