ATCS is looking for a Proposal & Content Strategy Specialist to join our team! This position will lead and develop high-quality proposals and presentations as well as support others on the team leading the development of these materials for business development pursuits across all ATCS geographies. The position will report to the Proposal & Content Strategy Manager within ATCS’ Strategic Sales and Communication Department.

This position will report out of our Camp Hill location where we offer a hybrid work environmental. However, there is a need for periodic travel to our headquarters in Herndon, VA for meetings and proposal and presentation support.

Duties include:

  • Support Operations and Practices in implementation of strategic pursuits and initiatives
  • Coordinate with Pursuits Strategy Team and Capture Managers as needed to ensure proper transition and collaboration after release of the RFPs; ensure proposals and presentations are consistent with information gathered during capture management and pre-positioning
  • Write, develop, prepare and manage competitive and persuasive proposals, statements of qualification and presentations for private entities, state, municipal and federal government agencies
  • Lead full production process including content development, proofreading, editing, assembling, and delivering final documents
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate the production of proposals, including preparation of compliance matrices demonstrating an understanding of proposal requirements and conducting proposal meetings to drive schedules for delivery
  • Tailor resumes, project descriptions, and introductory materials for each proposal
  • Lead and assist with gathering and organizing subconsultant information
  • Support quality control reviews and pink/red team review process for proposals
  • Review and edit content developed by other team members to provide guidance and recommendations
  • Work on multiple proposal/presentation efforts against tight deadlines and extended work hours as needed
  • Assist in interview prep for project pursuits, with potential for in person assistance at various office locations
  • Coordinate and work closely with Project Managers, Operations Managers, and other technical staff to ensure all materials and content align with ATCS and client standards
  • Accountable for overall compliance with Request for Proposals/Qualifications (RFP/RFQs) guidelines and criteria, including evaluation rating criteria (where applicable)
  • Actively support and utilize Salesforce to capture and implement strategy initiatives developed by others; champion usage of Salesforce across the company by modeling this behavior and encouraging its use by Operations staff
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain accurate pursuit and project information, resumes, project descriptions, and other marketing material; place focus on enhancing project descriptions by conducting research with Operations staff to improve the quality and content of the descriptions
  • Assist the Proposal & Content Strategy Manager with the development of a library of graphics and standard proposal content sections, including project descriptions, resumes and qualifications write-ups
  • Provide leadership and mentorship for members of the Operations and Proposal & Content Strategy teams to ensure high-quality products and services
  • Serve as a role model and foster team growth; actively participate in all team meetings, tasks and activities
  • Communicate effectively to all team members and internal clients
  • Prioritize work and multi-task with simultaneous deadlines
  • Demonstrate organization to handle multiple tasks
  • Provide information and training as needed to increase Operations staff skills to support our sales and marketing goals

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or related field
  • 5-10 years of marketing/proposal experience in the A/E/C industry or related field
  • Strong attention to detail, problem solving, and organizational skills
  • Strong communication and time management skills with the ability to effectively oversee staff, projects, and multiple priorities
  • Proven experience with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite and Salesforce required

Our employees are the most critical part of ATCS. For this position, we offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $94,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. The role is also eligible for an annual bonus, with a target 2% of the employee's annualized salary.
