Job Description:

We are seeking a talented Marketing/Proposal Coordinator with creative vision and technical skills to facilitate our growth in exciting and competitive markets through the development of professional statements of qualifications, proposals, and marketing collateral. We need a self-starter who can manage schedule and workload that produces quality work on time, and can collaborate virtually or in person with team members, executive management, and other departments.

This position requires working in a fast-paced environment in our Annapolis Junction, Maryland office, and a high level of organization, detail, time management, coordination, and communication to execute multiple projects simultaneously with overlapping timetables. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead and assist in developing compliant statements of qualifications, technical proposals, and presentations in response to Request for Qualifications and Request for Proposals, including:

• Preparing proposal criteria outlines and templates
• Collaborating with proposal team members
• Preparing drafts and editing/formatting proposal documents under aggressive deadlines
• Reviewing proposals for compliance and document control
• Creating proposal covers and tabs
• Producing proposals for submission

OTHER MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

• A willingness to gain superior knowledge of Kokosings history, capabilities, and personnel that enhances our proposal and marketing efforts
• Developing, organizing, and maintaining marketing collateral, such as project and personnel resumes, project photographs, media coverage, and logistics, and company brochures and newsletters
• Tracking proposal evaluations and benchmarking competitors marketing efforts to improve proposal quality
• Coordinating project submissions for regional/national awards and presentations, including gathering/generating information and reviewing for compliance
• Producing event materials/ads showcasing the company and/or our projects
• Marketing material procurement and inventory for proposal printing, binding, and collateral
• Other marketing tasks as needed, including internal/external events, holiday gifts/cards, company logo items, tradeshows/conferences, and photography/videography

QUALIFICATIONS

2-5 years of experience in proposal preparation and/or a degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism or another relevant field. Past experience and understanding of highway construction and engineering preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign) required.

Expected base pay range for this position is: $26.00/hr - $40.00/hr

This compensation range is specific to the job level and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to: education, experience, licensure, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. The range has been created in good faith based on information known to Kokosing at the time of the posting. Compensation decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each case. This salary range does not include any potential incentive pay or benefits, however, such information will be provided separately when appropriate.
