Compensation: $34.62–$44.23 per hour

Since 2009, our teams have worked alongside public agencies, contractors, utilities, and private clients to help infrastructure and development projects move forward while protecting species, habitats, and natural systems.

The Opportunity

\n

We are seeking an experienced Proposal Coordinator to help Endemic pursue and secure environmental work throughout California.

\n


\n

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys technical writing, takes pride in producing polished documents, and can bring organization and accountability to a fast-moving proposal process. You will work with project managers and technical specialists to coordinate information, manage deadlines, and prepare complete and compelling submissions.

What You’ll Do

\n
  • \n
  • Lead proposal development from kickoff through final submission.
  • \n
  • Review RFPs, RFQs, SOQs, IFBs, and other procurement documents.
  • \n
  • Create proposal schedules, compliance matrices, outlines, and internal assignments.
  • \n
  • Coordinate kickoff meetings, technical content, internal reviews, and submission deadlines.
  • \n
  • Gather information from project managers and subject-matter experts.
  • \n
  • Write, edit, proofread, and format proposal documents.
  • \n
  • Prepare required forms, certifications, resumes, project descriptions, qualification packages, and pre-qualification materials.
  • \n
  • Submit proposals through electronic procurement portals.
  • \n
  • Confirm that each proposal meets the solicitation requirements before submission.
  • \n
  • Maintain the proposal calendar and proposal resources, including templates, resumes, project descriptions, certifications, and standard narratives.
  • \n
  • Track proposal activity and support ongoing improvements to the proposal process.
  • \n

What We’re Looking For

\n
  • \n
  • Three or more years of proposal coordination, proposal development, or closely related experience, including substantial responsibility for writing and producing proposals.
  • \n
  • Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and document-production skills.
  • \n
  • Experience reviewing and interpreting detailed solicitation requirements.
  • \n
  • Ability to coordinate multiple contributors and manage competing deadlines.
  • \n
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through.
  • \n
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • \n
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with technical and nontechnical team members.
  • \n
  • Experience preparing proposals for public agencies is strongly preferred.
  • \n
  • Experience in environmental consulting, engineering, construction, infrastructure, utilities, or another professional-services industry is helpful.
  • \n
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and electronic procurement portals is also a plus.
