The Proposal Manager oversees the full lifecycle of proposal development and contract renewals for public and private funding opportunities.
They collaborate across teams to create compliant, compelling, and timely responses to RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs, including technical narratives and cost proposals.
The role involves managing proposal deadlines, budgets, and renewal processes, while monitoring funding trends, regulatory changes, and policy developments to identify new opportunities.
Requirements include a bachelor’s degree, 3+ years of proposal experience in healthcare or human services, proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel, strong project management, and excellent communication skills.
Preferred attributes include familiarity with Medicaid-funded contracts, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
The position reports to the Director of Business Development and involves some travel within the region.
