Description

Our client, a Research, Care and Health Financing company, is looking for a Proposal Manager (Marketing & Communications) for their Dallas, TX location.
 
Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the entire proposal development process, from initial concept to final submission.
  • Tailor proposals to meet specific client requirements and highlight Client capabilities and unique selling points.
  • Draft, edit, and format proposals, ensuring clarity, consistency, and professionalism.
  • Maintain an organized repository of all proposals, RFPs and RFIs, including templates, past proposals, and supporting documents.
  • Ensure all documents are up-to-date, properly versioned, and easily accessible for future reference.
  • Work closely with Cross Functional Leads and SMEs to collect necessary information, such as project details, client requirements, and technical specifications, and assist in presentations to clients
  • Effectively manage against deadlines by owning overall progress and completion of the RFP, clearly communicating deadlines to key stakeholders, and escalating any barriers which put timely RFP completion at-risk.
  • Coordinate with the Marketing team to incorporate visual elements and ensure proposals are aesthetically pleasing and error-free.
  • Review and edit proposals for grammar, accuracy, and compliance with client specifications.
  • Ensure all proposals comply with client requirements, industry standards, and company policies.
  • Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and client needs.
  • Use research findings to enhance the relevance and impact of proposal content, ensuring it addresses client pain points and industry challenges.
  • Collect and incorporate feedback from past proposals and client debriefs to continuously improve the quality and effectiveness of proposal content.
  • Track and analyze the success rate of proposals to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.
  • Develop and manage timelines for proposal development, ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • Assign tasks to team members and monitor progress to ensure timely completion of all proposal components.
  • Liaise with clients to clarify proposal requirements and address any questions or concerns they may have.
 
Requirements:
  • 5 years of healthcare industry RFP experience, preferably with medical devices, and/or 5 years of B2B content writing experience
  • Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, compelling, and persuasive proposals.
  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and completeness in all documents.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including Cross Functional Leads and SMEs
  • Strong research skills to gather relevant information and insights from various sources.
  • Ability to adapt and respond to feedback, continuously improving proposal content.
  • Familiarity with marketing and advertising industry trends, practices, and terminology.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite (Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides) and proposal management
