This position may be based in either our Denver, Colorado or Washington, DC office. In this role, you'll work closely with project managers, principals, and other marketing and business services professionals. Your primary responsibility will be crafting high-quality proposals that address client needs. We're looking for someone with an entrepreneurial mindset, a commitment to quality, and a genuine enthusiasm for creating compelling content.ResponsibilitiesProvide support with researching, monitoring, and tracking potential project opportunities and strategic pursuits, helping maintain visibility into upcoming RFPs, RFQs, and other procurement opportunities.Contribute to the coordination of marketing efforts from pre‑RFP release to time of submittal (i.e., proposals, interview preparation, pre‑bids, resume updates, qualification development, and weekly meetings about business pursuits)Collaborate with project managers, senior management, and other business services staff to plan, coordinate, and produce qualifications, proposals, and presentations, and meet relevant deadlinesTake ownership of the proposal process and commit to ensuring proposals comply with the applicable RFP/RFQ submission instructions and requirementsCoordinate the receipt of necessary information from internal clients, external consultants, and other team members to include in proposal and presentation materialsContribute to content development (writing, editing, proofreading) for qualifications, proposals, and presentationsUse our company's brand style guide and design resources to create attractive and effective graphics and documents for marketing pursuits that compete well with othersUpdate and maintain databases of project opportunities, project descriptions, resumes, references, and qualifications materialsQualifications2-5 years of experienceEffective writing, editing, grammar, and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks and deadlines while maintaining professionalism and exceptional attention to detailStrong work ethic and commitment to excellenceProficiency in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe AcrobatEagerness to learn and develop skills in graphic design, writing, and template managementExperience in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) preferred, but not requiredWillingness to learn and apply AI-assisted toolsExperience within the AEC industry is preferred, but not requiredA portfolio demonstrating your visual design capabilities is required.
