The Prospect Development Analyst performs prospect discovery, analysis, and reporting to support major, principal, and planned giving efforts.
She/He creates analytical solutions to identify and qualify prospects, enhance understanding of existing pools, and support fundraising campaigns.
The role involves researching individuals and organizations, compiling data, and producing detailed reports for guiding fundraising strategies.
Key responsibilities include:
- Proactively identifying and qualifying prospects using database segmentation, external resources, and screenings.
- Developing collaborative relationships with gift officers and supporting strategic planning.
- Researching financial and legal disclosures to evaluate giving capacity and propensity.
- Maintaining data integrity within databases and leveraging research tools, including AI resources.
- Ensuring confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards.
Qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree, 2+ years of experience, strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills, with CRM experience preferred.
