Basically - prove yourself in SALES - and earn the opportunity to open your own Farmers Insurance Agency with District 20.

Proteges work side-by-side with an experienced Farmers Agent Mentor, learning the business from the ground up! Youll gain real-world experience in sales, marketing, operations, and leadership while building the skills and confidence needed to run your own agency.

This role is ideal for competitive, coachable sales professionals who are motivated by growth, both financially and professionally, and want structured training, hands-on mentorship, and a defined roadmap to leadership or agency ownership.

Salary Range: $60000.00 - $80000.00 per year

Responsibilities

• Meet new business production goals and objectives as established.
• Develop insurance quotes, make sales presentations, and close sales.
• Process customer policy change requests.
• Secure all Trailing Documents from customers.
• Handle all incoming claim calls from customers and follow-up.
• Ask each customer for referrals and explain our referral program.
• Treat each customer contact as a cross and up-sell opportunity including financial products.

• Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive and resourceful and be coachable.
• Possess an upbeat, positive and enthusiastic attitude.
• Be a great self-starter with a sense of urgency.
• Prior Sales Experience.
• A Property & Casualty insurance license is required.
• A Life & Health Insurance license is required.
